FAQ

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WISH TO CHANGE OR ADD A STRUCTURE, CHANGE THE COLOR OF MY HOME OR FENCE, ADD A FENCE, MAKE A SUBSTANTIVE CHANGE IN MY LANDSCAPE PLAN, ADD AN AWNING OR, IN GENERAL, WISH TO CHANGE THE EXTERIOR OF MY HOME AND LOT?

As members of the Village at Pinecrest HOA, each of us is required by the covenants to submit plans for any structure or planting to the Architectural and Appearance Control Committee (AACC) for approval prior to installation. The committee will review your request and respond accordingly. Please submit your request well in advance of any expected start date.

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF I WISH TO REPLACE MY MAILBOX?

Mailboxes are specifically mentioned as one such "structure" that must be submitted to the Architectural and Appearance Control Committee (AACC) for approval prior to installation. In order to streamline the process for mailboxes, any new/replacement mailbox that complies with the following standards may be installed without submitting an application to the AACC.

  • Homeowners on Strawberry Meadows St, Tory Sound Ct, Joyce Glow Ct or the following addresses on Oneal Rd (8215, 8227, 8231) - Black mailbox on black metal post

  • Homeowners on Killarney Hope Dr, Standing Stone Ct, Eden Close Ct, Balmy Dawn Ct or Oneal Rd (8120) - Black mailbox on white (wood or plastic) post

These standards were in place with the original construction and to maintain a cohesive feel to the neighborhood, we would ask that homeowners adhere to these standards. Any mailbox outside of these standards or any mailbox with non-mail related accessories will need to be submitted to the AACC for prior approval.
